Key Responsibilities:

• Parcel Delivery & Collection: Responsible for picking up parcels from distribution hubs or warehouses and delivering them to designated addresses, ensuring that all shipments arrive safely and on time.
• Coordination with Logistics Providers: Work closely with major courier companies like DPD and DHL to receive instructions on deliveries, including schedules, route optimization, and any special handling requirements for parcels.
• Efficient Route Management: Plan and execute delivery routes that are cost-effective and timely, often using GPS technology or route planning apps to ensure the most efficient use of time and resources.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate directly with recipients to ensure smooth handovers, handle customer inquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
• Parcel Handling: Ensure that parcels are handled with care, following all packaging and safety requirements to avoid damage during transport.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery (POD), tracking updates, and any issues encountered during transportation.
• Compliance with Safety Standards: Adhere to all safety regulations, including vehicle maintenance and compliance with local traffic laws.
